Installation steps of LED light strip
1. Firstly, determine the length to be installed, and then truncate it as an integer.
This type of light strip is one unit per meter, and only when cut through the cutting edge will it not affect the circuit. If cut arbitrarily, it will cause one unit to not light up. For example, if a length of 7.5 meters is required, the light strip needs to be cut by 8 meters.
2. Link plug
LED itself is a diode driven by direct current, so it has positive and negative electrodes. If the positive and negative electrodes are reversed, it is in an insulation state and the light strip is not lit. If the connecting plug does not turn on when powered on, simply remove the other end of the light strip.
3. Placement of light strips
The light strip is packaged in a tray, and the newly opened light strip will be twisted and difficult to install. You can first organize and level it before placing it in the light slot. Due to the fact that the light strip emits light from one side, uneven placement can result in uneven lighting, especially at corners.

1. Indoor installation: When LED light strips are used for indoor decoration, installation is very simple as they do not have to withstand wind and rain.
Some LED light strips are pasted with self-adhesive 3M Double-sided tape on the back. During installation, the sticker on the surface of 3M Double-sided tape can be directly removed, and then the light strip can be fixed at the place where it needs to be installed, and it is OK to press it flat by hand. As for some places that require corners or grow, what should we do? Simply put, the LED light strip is a circuit structure composed of three LEDs in series and parallel, and each three LEDs can be cut and used separately.
2. Outdoor installation: Outdoor installation can withstand wind and rain. If 3M adhesive is used for fixation, over time, it will cause a decrease in 3M adhesive and cause the LED light strip to fall off. Therefore, outdoor installation often adopts the method of fixing with card slots. The places that need to be cut and connected are the same as indoor installation, but additional waterproof adhesive is required to strengthen the waterproof effect of the connection points.
3. Power connection method: The general voltage of LED light strips is 12V DC, so a switching power supply is required. The size of the power supply is determined by the power and connection length of the LED light strip.
If you don't want each LED light strip to be controlled by a single power supply, you can purchase a high-power switching power supply as the main power supply, and then connect all the LED light strips in parallel with the input power supply (if the wire size is not enough, it can be extended separately) to be uniformly powered by the main switching power supply. The advantage of this is that it can be centrally controlled, but the inconvenient aspect is that it cannot achieve the lighting effect and switch control of a single LED strip. The specific method used can be measured by oneself.
4. Controller connection method: LED running light strips and RGB full color light strips require the use of controllers to achieve illusion effects, and the control distance of each controller is different. Generally speaking, the control distance of a simple controller is 10 to 15 meters, while the remote control controller
